ABC University

To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pride and honor to recommend John Smith for the ABC University in specialized Journalism. I was John’s professor when he was in ZZZ University and taking up nursing. I have sensed his passion in writing when I saw him join the campus news paper and be able to be the editor in chief when he was in his senior year.

John is one of those students who never failed to keep me updated through letters. I was never really shocked when he told me that he has been working in a news paper company and writing on the editorial section. I have witnessed his growth as a real journalist. Though his parents let him take up the course of being a nurse it doesn’t stop him to have a way in the world of journalism.

And as he told me that he will take up his master’s degree, it is indeed my pleasure to recommend him in your university. I wish him all the best in all his career development.
